While Amazon usually sends out updates on a normal basis to all or some or of their devices, this update actually made a big change to the Amazon Fire tv stick community, and it wasn’t a positive one either. When your device downloads and installs this update, you actually have less control of your device, which can be frustrating to some folks that own Amazon Fire devices, especially the Amazon Fire tv stick. 1. From the main menu hover over to the settings tab and press select
2. Now click on the My Fire TV on the bottom left
3. Click on Developer Options
4. Click on Apps From Unknown Sources
5. Now choose Turn On
